Music & Rambling

Woke up and for some weird reason I was in the mood to write which is super odd. But here I am, writing. Well it's not really writing it's typing. Same thing. I just looked at the 30 day challenge thingy-magiggy and today I'm supposed to talk about my favourite song. First of all I can't choose one song because that has got to be some sort of discrimination to my playlist. Also I only just started my May playlist so I have to do my April one.

Pure Imagination by Shiloh Dynasty - This month has been the start of my obsession with Shiloh Dynasty. Their voice is hypnotising and all the songs made with his/her voice are so trippy and chill. 

Stranger Things by Joyner Lucas & Chris Brown - It's a banger I found in April but I feel like it swears too much that it kinda becomes annoying if you get me

Be careful by Cardi B - I love Cardi B this song has a really groovy beat which is a bit different to her norm but I like it. Overall it's a litty song

Japan by Famous Dex - Another groovy song. I feel like this month I really branched out to new types of music that I don't usually listen to. This song has a catchy chorus and my friends and I hit the shoot to this song like bosses. 

Trust Nobody by Shiloh Dynasty - I told you I was obsessed. Here's another trippy Shiloh song. I remember when I first heard this song and I was singing along then sang the wrong words with confidence. Now I search up lyrics to these songs cause it's tricky to hear what they say. 

Sit back down by Not3s - I mean the song is alright by I'm not in love. It's the sort of I have to be in the right mood to hear. Not3s is a classic who doesn't love him. 

Miss Melan by Erik Hearts - I overplayed this so in the car and now hate it. It's really funky and upbeat but in a casual way.

Sad! by Kid Travis - Ok, I'm loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this remix/ cover so much. Who else gets Monte Carlos vibes from this song. I have to say I was so confuzzeled when half way through he switches up the song but it works. Even though it sounds really cool the lyrics are actually very depressing but oh well. 

Niche by Eric Reprid - One of my absolute favourite songs of 2018 so far. It is very me with a mixture of a groovy beat and hype rap. It always makes me want to dance and is a total mood lifter. 

Family Tree by Ramz - I think this is a fun car song. I bit of Ramz never hurt anyone also I think the song is clean which is cool because I think most songs I listen to swear and it's nice to have a break from that.

OTW by Khalid, 6BLACK & Ty Dolla $igh - Personally I think Khalid has one of the best voices out there and is 100% underrated. A nice chill song. Another banger by him is Love Lies which is in Love Simon an incredible movie that you have to watch right now. 

I like it by Cardi B, Bad bunny & J Balvin - The start of this song sounds like something they would play in Nandos. The Spanish bit makes me feel like I'm a fluent Spanish speaker on top of the world but I'm really just mumbling gibberish hoping for the best. It's 2018's Latino vibes come back.

GOTTI by 6ix9ine - This is just a cool tune it takes me out of reality when I'm listening to this on the loudest volume possible. The little tinkle sound in the background is really cute as well and makes me fall asleep. 

I'm sad ( Uke Version ) by Eli - This is the most depressing song I ever heard but oh my days I love it. And there's this funny line that cracks me up so much even though its not that funny. Listen to the song and tell me which line you think it is in the comments. ( ignore the lyrics if you watch the video )

Swinging in Da whip by Da Beatfreakz - It's more what I used to listen to. It isn't everyone's cup of tea though.

Soft Skin by Timmies ( ft. Shiloh Dynasty ) - A great way to end my April playlist, with Shiloh. She just fascinates me so much with her unusual voice. If you check out her instagram there are like 20 second clips of her singing. Then DJ's put the song together and it's just incredible. But it's so frustrating because Shiloh was last active in 2016 ( i think ) and I have no idea where Shiloh is. 

So that's my April Playlist complete with ratings and my opinion on the song and artists. Not sure how this post is useful or interesting in anyway but there you go. I guess you can see my odd and confusing music taste and get some songs you might like. Or you you'll just judge me for being weird but that's ok too.
